How to make my nerf guns shoot farther?

i want my vulcan and raider to shoot even farther but i dont want to mess with the insides cuz il probably mess it all up. Are there any little things I can do to make the guns shoot farther? i heard to can mod the vulcan belt by cutting out the air restrictors and on the raider u put tape on the prime indicator thingy. does that actually help?
