How do you think Sarah Palin's entrance on the Presidential race has affected it's course?

I think McCain had the right idea about bringing a woman in to the mix. What happened was that she turned out to be the wrong person for the job. He made a mistake in picking the person. Pailn did not do McCain any favors by accepting the job, she brought too much baggage. Had he picked someone like Carla Furini (ex HP) or Liz Dole or some well known lady. I think he would have given Obama a good run. Unfortunate for McCain she did not turn out to be a good choice.
