How can I calm down before I get a needle through my lip? Oh, and how much does it hurt?

im super afraid of needles also and i was yelling at my mom on the way to get my bottom lip pierced telling her she crazy for letting me do this..but i had been wanting it done for a very long time..and i was freaking out but if you want it enough you can calm yourself by taking some deep breathes and thinking its worth it..and i was shocked when he did it cause i didn't feel anything but a slight pinch..(i don't think i handle pain well)..so it was just a 1 on your scale for my lip piercing and i love it so i think its worth it and i just a bit of swelling
