Have yall noticed that the Vice President's house (naval observatory)is better than the Presidents White House?

The president has to stay in an 200 year old mansion where only the second floor is available for the living are. While the vice president is required to stay at an 100 year old 3 story, 9100 square foot Queen Ann styled house. I guess this is one way how the vice president gets the better deal of the two.
