Does honors courses matter to get into UC?

I only took 1 semester of honors in grade 10. but everything else I have regular cles and have a 3.5 semester GPA. I am aiming to get into UC, is having honors courses very important priority to get in? Do Ucs also look at 1st semester of 12th grade? cuz i can plan to take more honors courses,
